The trailer begins with the setup of the character, and his current situation, that being the girl he is dating. this cuts to the Sony pictures productions, as there is soft jazz playing in the background. This interests the audience as it builds suspense, while the voiceover begins. The target audience appears to be a large range, generally 12+, but I am uncertain about the upper bound. The mood changes throughout, as it starts of more pleasant before changing and ending on a meloncholic note. A huge selling point to the film is the presentation of 'Sundance film festival winner' and 'Cannes film festival'. This shows that the film is slightly edgy, and worthy of seeing to some audiences. The genre is not so clear, maybe it is a drama, but comes across as a slight thriller. The form of it is much like London to Brighton, in that it begins with the setup of the characters, then moves on to the problem and issue that the main actor needs to solve, and then ends on a series of montages that will setup more about the plot, and hints at what happens in the journey of the film. The dialogue makes up most of the trailer, that being the plot of the character developing. This is intersected with intense moments of drum rhythms before the final title comes up.
